Best Time 15th May to end of November ( 9 nights 10 days tour)
Day 1, Arrival Delhi International airport, transfer to Hotel O/N Hotel, it is depend on your flight, arriveing evening or morning, if your flight is in the morning, after lunch visit Old Delhi O/N Hotel
Day 2, Delhi to Leh,
Morning transfer to Domestic airport for your on board fly to Leh one hrs journey, during you fly very exciting view of great Himalayan mountains, you can see right side K 2 peaks and Left side Nun Kun peaks, and many more peaks, arrival at Leh transfer to Hotel, after rest for acclimatization O/N Hotel.
Day 3, Acclimatization day and Buddhist monastery excursion
After breakfast drive and visit Basgo, castle and monastery ancient wall paintings, Lier monastery, more than 1000 years old Alchi monastery and wall paintings, after visit most wonderful landscape and monastery in Lamayuru and drive back to Leh O/N Hotel
Day 4, Acclimatization and monastery excursion
After breakfast drive and visit Shey monastery, Thiksey monastery, Chamday monastery Taktho Monastery and Hemis monastery O/N in Hemis local Home stay evening visit meditation cave
Day 5, Morning Drive Shang sumdo
one hrs drive after start trek to Shang phu from Shang 4hrs easy ascent in between the field and houses of shang village very nice to see monastery and village and agricultural activities end of the day camp near the summer house of the Shang village.
Day 6, Phu to Gangpochey via yan la 4850m
From the camp gradually ascent first 2 hrs easy and one hrs to pass of yan la very nice view of Stok range and Indus valley, from the pass along the mountain side some up and down 2hrs to camp near the sheep house.
Day 7, Gangpochey to Mankarmo via Gangpochey la 4900m
Camp to pass easy ascent to the pass from the pass spectacular view of Stok kangri after all way down to camp near Stok sheep house.
Day 8, Mankarmo to Rumbak via Stok la pass 4900m
Base camp is 4850m in between to mountains Kanglacha and Golap kangri nice camp.
Day 9, Rumbak to Jengchan –Leh
From Rumbak camp easy trek all the way down to Jengcha after drive to leh
Day 10, Leh to Delhi
After breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Delhi, arrival at Delhi 9 Am in the morning after visit old Delhi evening transfer to International airport for your on board fly back home with sweet memory of Himalaya ladakh
