Itinerary
Day 1, Delhi-Leh: Early morning transfer to the domestic airport to board the Jet Airways flight # 9W609 which leaves Delhi at 05:40 am and arrives Leh at 06:55 am. On arrival met by representative and transfer to hotel. Day complete rest to acclimatize. Overnight Hotel at Leh
Day 2, Acclimatization / Sightseeing: Early morning drive to Thiksey monastery to meet with the Morning Prayer ceremony performed by group of monks. Continue our tour to Hemis monastery and on return visit the Shey palace and temple. Overnight HOTEL at Leh.
Day 3, Trek Zingchan – Rumbak (4150 meters) via Rumbak village; Today early in the morning we drive to Zingchan, upon arrival we start our trek following the Zingchan stream passing through small hut, entering the Hemis National Park, the trail then leads through narrow gorge and then the valley widens and reach Rumbak village. Then the trail continues along the hill side to Stok la base O/N Camp
Day 4, Trek Rumbak – Mankarmo via stok la 4920m. The easy ascent starts in the morning itself and we climb up to Stok La, which is also the base of Stok Kangri peak. Enjoy the grand view of Indus valley from the great heights of Stok La and then cross over towards the other side into stok valley and camp overnight at Mankarmo. (4,800M)
Day 5, Mankarmo-Base camp: Trek from Mankarmo to Base camp. Overnight at the base camp
Day 6, At base acclimatization day and peroration day after breakfast checking climbing equipments after lunch go for some small climbing O/N Camp
Day 7, Advance camp
Day 8, Spare Summit Day: We have allowed two extra day in case of weather, individual acclimatization, or anything else, requires more time for the ascent to be completed successfully.
Day 9, Spare Summit day
Day 10, Summit to Kanglachan peak (6128m)
Summit day morning 1:AM began climbing 8-10 hrs to summit, 4-5 hrs descent to base camp O/N base camp
Day 11, Base camp to Stok village and drive to leh. After breakfasr descent all the way along the Stok river arrival stok village the car will be there to pickup you and drive to Leh transfer to Hotel O/N hotel
Day 12,morning after breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Delhi
